Amidst the crisis COVID-19 has brought, our doctors are being tried more than ever. We should never forget the risk they put themselves at every single day, but today, March 30th, 2020 is National Doctor’s Day, and we are honoring our brave Principle Investigators at each of our locations.
Who are Principal Investigators?
As Principal Investigators (PIs), our physicians are responsible for the overall safety of the patients volunteering for the study, the accuracy of the research data being collected, and the oversight and safety of all research staff.
Without our PIs, just like without our volunteers, we could do nothing to help advance treatment options for the future.
